BRADFORD TRIDENT - The Present

Bradford Trident is currently in a transitional phase. Over the last 10 years we have delivered over 200 projects to benefit the local community, through the New Deal for Communities Programme.

We now operate as a Social Enterprise, earning our income through rental income from our property portfolio and from other funds obtained through grants and commissions. This change has led to a reduction in staffing levels and we now only employ a small core of Management and Administration staff plus a dedicated team who manage our buildings. We then employ dedicated staff on any externally funded projects such as the GRID and Healthy Living Initiative.

The organisation is run by a Board of Directors who are all volunteers, many of which are Community Councillors (see separate article on Community Council).

We are working closely with the Community Council and the local community to identify services which are needed locally and continually seek innovative ways of resourcing local needs.
