We are working to create a more secure and peaceful place to live.

• We have reduced the level of recorded crime, the fear of crime and vehicle crime.

• Bradford Trident is spending over £1.5 million on extra policing. This pays for four full time community beat officers working solely to fight crime in the area.

• We are also working to prevent crime and help residents feel more secure by providing extra window and door locks for homes which have been burgled more than once.

• Other projects address the links between drugs and crime and provide diversionary and educational activity for young people who are at risk of offending.

• We use CCTV to target crime in the area.
