Making sure people have control over what happens in their area is central to Bradford Trident’s way of working. Our projects are designed to encourage people to contribute to and get the most out of their community.

• We are aiming to reduce the number of people who feel excluded from the community. We are increasing opportunity for local people to influence the services their receive. We have increased the number of local people helping to run Bradford Trident. We have createdmore sports, social and cultural activities.

• We involve residents and businesses in every aspect of the work, through meetings, newsletters and questionnaires. Community Directors represent the three parts of the Bradford Trident area, Marshfields, Park Lane and West Bowling. Our Youth Forum ensures local young people get a say in what Bradford Trident does and how the money is spent.

• Working in partnership with all local groups is a critical part of every project, and our voluntary sector support team further strengthens the community network.
